Tihei Mauri Ora
We have had a fantastic start to the year with well over 100 of our students coming along to the first session of Kapahaka. Awesome!
At our first session we learned a new waiata Tihei Mauri Ora and we were really impressed with how quickly the students were able to learn the waiata and the waiata-a-ringa (actions).
This year we will be making poi and learning some short and long poi actions songs. We are also going to be learning some rakau (stick) waiata as well.
We will place links for all songs on the waiata page of this blog so take the time to learn the words when you get a chance.
